Dates and Logistics:

Pink Pearl Summer Bridge Camps in July and August are designed for kids to advance in their school subjects as well as stay active during the summer. We offer outsourced home school program with Robinson Curriculum and Summer Bridge books.
This program allows kids to keep up with the material they learned during the school year and prepare them for the next grade. The Summer Bridge program will continue during the school year as outsourced home school program for the school year: September 3, 2024 to May 31, 2025.

Hop on board The Nature Bus and explore outdoor nature activities and adventures. Campers will depart daily from REI in Town Center, Virginia Beach, and activities will include visits to different outdoor parks and nature preserves each day, allowing for the exploration of a variety of ecosystems, and hands-on, up-close identification of plants and animals (including native plants and pollinators).
Campers will learn about the use of naturalist tools & methods, birding, swimming, nature journaling, watercolor painting, nature meditations, eco arts, naturalist challenges, environmental stewardship, and so much more!
The overall "vibe" of Nature Bus camps is a peaceful feeling. Camp days are filled with zen-like, relaxed activities to encourage campers to use their senses to experience nature in a manner in which naturalists approach the natural world. Our goal is to awe children/teens, inspire a sense of wonder, and develop their naturalist skills. -

YMCA Outdoor Adventure CampIn Outdoor Adventure Camp, children ages 5–15 embark on a journey of discovery, friendship, and excitement! Our camp is designed to provide a safe and engaging environment for young adventurers to explore the great outdoors, build new skills, and create lasting memories. Campers have a variety of activities to choose from including the Alpine Tower, archery, swimming, group games, and more!
There are three regional outdoor camps – Camp Red Feather in Norfolk, Camp Arrowhead in Suffolk, and Camp Grom in Virginia Beach
Ages 5–6, First Camp, First Camp provides a fun introductory outdoor adventure experience for our new-to-camp kiddos.
Ages 6–7, Discovery Camp, Campers discover the natural world through camp activities like archery, swimming, arts & crafts, and songs.
Ages 8–9, Explorers Camp, Campers discover the natural world through camp activities like archery, challenge course, games, sports, and swimming.
Ages 10–12, Pathfinders Camp, Campers challenge themselves and grow through camp activities like the Alpine Tower, sports, swimming and more.
Ages 13–14, Trailblazers Camp, Teens enjoy activities, team building challenges, and service projects in this leadership development camp at Camp Red Feather.
Ages 5–12, Adaptive Camp, Designed for campers whose abilities require additional assistance when participating in camp activities, Adaptive Camp at the YMCA at JT’s Camp Grom provides a fun, tailored outdoor adventure camp experience with activities like archery, fishing, swimming and more.
Ages 15–16, Counselor In Training (CIT), At YMCA Camp Red Feather, CIT participants develop and practice the leadership skills they need to become a camp counselor, working first-hand with campers and learning and practicing facilitation skills.
Camp Hours: 6:30am–6pm
A typical day:
6:30am–9am: Free play
9am–4pm: Outdoor Adventure Camp Activities

YMCA Summer CampAt YMCA summer camp, your children make new friendships and experience exciting activities each day. Camps are available for ages 4–12. Registration is open with options to register for the entire summer or select weeks. Half-day and full-day options are available at select locations to offer flexibility.
