$5 February Fun at Norfolk Botanical Garden!

Lots of ACTIVE, outdoor fun to be had at Norfolk Botanical Garden in the month of February!

Admission to the Garden is $5 per person every day in February. Bike riding is permitted on paved paths in the Garden all day long (9am-5pm), all month long.

Special Events:

Each Saturday: (11am-3pm) WARM UP– Come in from the cold after riding your bike and warm up with games and puzzles. Enjoy self-guided activities in a warm environment as you take a break before heading out to ride again.

Saturday, February 4th: (9am-5pm) The Big Bike Bash

  • Make a pair of custom, banmboo handlebar grips (cost $5) with local bike crafter, Wes Cheney, will be on hand building a special bike made out of bamboo. Visit to learn more!
  • Safety City will set up a special bike safety course for the kids to practice their skills.
  • Take a bike tour through the Garden with local bike guide, Cindy Lewis.
  • Door prizes will be given throughout the day!
  • Helmets will be given away free-of-charge to participants needing a helmet, as part of The Lynn Fund of the Brain Injury Association of America’s “Use your brain” traumatic brain injury (TBI) education and prevention program. The helmets, which look like a brain, are specially designed and produced for this The Lynn Fund. They will be available while supplies last.
