2019 "Little Hands, Big Difference" & The Mayflower Marathon

Little Hands Big Difference Norfolk VA

One of my favorite local events, and a great way for the kids (and family!) to volunteer in the days leading up to Thanksgiving!

“Little Hands, Big Difference” sponsored by the Junior League of Norfolk-Virginia Beach is taking place Saturday, November 23, 2019. This FREE fun-filled event is dedicated to teaching children the importance of volunteering. All ages are welcome but the activities are designed for ages 2-11.

Where: The Williams School Gym 312 Bute Street, Norfolk VA

When: Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 11am-3pm

Description: Join us for this family-friendly event where kids have the opportunity to give back through interactive, service-based activities including sorting food donations, “sewing” fleece blankets for the homeless, making bookmarks for little libraries, painting kindness rocks and more. Other fun stations include make-your-own sensory bottles, a games corner, photo booth and goodie bags. The event will also feature Leslie Marie Fatland for our 2nd annual Author Talks. Join us at 12 and 2 for a live reading!
