Sea Turtle Release!

Come out to the Virginia Beach oceanfront on Monday afternoon to give a big send off to the last group of sea turtles that will be released this season (cooler weather is coming!).

The public are welcome to come watch the release. Please arrive early to find parking so you don't miss the release!

Where: Atlantic Avenue and Laskin Road (31st near the Neptune statue), Virginia Beach Oceanfront

When: Monday, October 20, 2014 at 2pm

Cost: Free Event

The Virginia Aquarium Stranding Response Program works out of the Virginia Aquarium and can respond quickly to assist animals in distress. To report a dead or live stranded marine mammal or sea turtle call the Virginia Aquarium Stranding Response Program 24-hour hotline at (757) 385-7575.
