Visit the GIANT DUCK!

Have you been to visit the GIANT DUCK down at The Chrysler Museum in Norfolk??? I have seen so many great pictures of friends and readers in front of the duck I had to post to make sure you all knew about it (it is also listed on the calendar).

You can find out about the Duck, why he is here, and how long he is staying by Clicking HERE. Can’t make it down to Norfolk? No worries, you can check him out on his own webcam HERE.

Also, this weekend The Chrysler has added MORE cast-glass duck-making sessions that will run through the holiday weekend, including Memorial Day. You can try for a walk-in spot but they are only as space allows, your best bet is to sign up online to guarantee a spot. Cost is $35 for museum members, $45 for non-members.

What’s involved? You’ll make the mold and decorate the glass, and the Chrysler staff will handle the pouring of the molten glass. This activity is suitable for ages two years old and up, and the sessions last less than an hour. The glass ducks need time to cool, and can be picked up the next day. For more information and to sign up Click HERE.
